Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Hebburn, UK, seeks an Embedded Security Expert to lead cybersecurity for embedded and industrial products. You will drive secure architectures, threat modeling, and security testing across firmware and PC software, ensuring security by design throughout the product lifecycle.

Role requires hands-on security implementation in embedded environments, collaboration with global teams, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive compliance with IEC 62443, IEC 62351, ISO 27001, NIS2, CRA and customer security requirements.
• Define secure architectures for embedded devices and firmware.
• Perform threat modeling, security risk assessments and design reviews.
• Implement security features in embedded software environments.
• Lead security assurance activities including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, security incidents and product security updates.
• Support project leaders in implementing product and solution security (software/hardware).
• Promote secure development practices and high code quality using quality tools and defect fixing.
