Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to take ownership of embedded development for connected products. You will craft high-quality C/C++ code, work closely with hardware, firmware, and test teams, and drive secure networking functionality.

Ideal candidates bring strong experience in embedded C/C++, TCP/IP, Ethernet, microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M), RTOS, and a passion for cybersecurity in product development.

Qualifications

• Strong background in embedded software development for connected products.
• Experience writing production-quality real-time embedded software.
• Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, UDP, IP networking, HTTP/S.
• Experience implementing secure communications or cybersecurity functionality.
• Hands-on role with hardware, firmware and software teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing embedded software for connected products.
• Writing, reviewing, testing and maintaining production-quality code.
• Implementing secure communication protocols.
• Working with networking technologies and RFC-based networking principles.
• Developing low-level software and device drivers.
• Working with peripherals including SPI, I2C, I2S and UART.
• Contributing to software architecture, design reviews and problem solving.
