Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Principal Solution Architect for Embedded Platforms in the United States. This strategic leadership role shapes how Sovos technology is embedded into ISV products, guiding enterprise integration architectures, product strategy and executive advisory across global partners.

You will mentor architects, influence platform capabilities and drive next-generation embedded compliance solutions in a cloud-enabled, tax-technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in product, tax/ERP technology consulting, enterprise software engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven understanding of global tax compliance and indirect tax processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions using APIs, webhooks, cloud-native tech and modern patterns.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture for strategic ISV partnerships.
• Deliver architecture documentation, designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Design enterprise-grade integrations using APIs, webhooks and cloud-native tech.
• Review API integration approaches including REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Establish governance and testing frameworks for scalable partner integrations.
