Job summary

Cortech Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Electronics Hardware Design Engineer for a Cheshire-based client. The role is mostly remote with occasional onsite requirements (1x per week or periodically).

You will design hardware for embedded and control systems, including schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout, with emphasis on analogue/digital design and prototyping. Firmware in C/C++ (STM32/PIC) is desirable.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in electronics design and embedded hardware
• Schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout proficiency
• Prototype testing and managing component obsolescence
• Ability to work under pressure across multiple projects
• Strong analogue and digital electronics design skills
• Experience with Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematics
