Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking an Electronics Technical Lead in the Hertfordshire area (hybrid). The role focuses on overseeing the development of high-integrity electronic subsystems across the full product lifecycle, and you will lead engineers from feasibility through production.

You will provide technical direction, manage design activities and budgets, and coordinate with other engineering teams to meet quality, cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electronic design, qualification and certification.
• Experience developing complex electronic subsystems.
• Proven ability to technically lead, develop and motivate engineers.
• Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle.
• Experience delivering products from technical requirements.
• Knowledge of product configuration and design control.
• Experience planning and delivering engineering projects or work packages.
• Strong stakeholder management and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• A degree or equivalent experience in electronics or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex electronic subsystems
• Provide technical direction to a small or medium-sized engineering team
