Henderson Scott is seeking an Electronics Technical Lead in the Hertfordshire area (hybrid). The role focuses on overseeing the development of high-integrity electronic subsystems across the full product lifecycle, and you will lead engineers from feasibility through production.

You will provide technical direction, manage design activities and budgets, and coordinate with other engineering teams to meet quality, cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electronic design, qualification and certification.
• Experience developing complex electronic subsystems.
• Proven ability to technically lead, develop and motivate engineers.
• Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle.

Experience needed: Strong experience designing and delivering complex electronic subsystems throughout the full product lifecycle, alongside the ability to technically lead engineers and manage design activities against agreed budgets and schedules.

About the Role

We're looking for an Electronics Technical Lead to oversee the development of high-integrity electronic subsystems within a complex engineering environment. You'll lead a team of engineers from early feasibility and technology assessment through detailed design, qualification, certification and transition into production. The work may involve power electronics, motor-control systems, safety-related electronics or command-and-control equipment.
