Job summary

Xtrac seeks a Senior Electronics HW Engineer to own hardware development for high-performance transmissions. You will design schematics and PCB layouts, select components, and lead integration across transmission subsystems and vehicle level.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive electronics, plus experience with Altium and industry standards. You will supervise engineers, support testing, and help meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronic, mechatronic or control systems engineering.
• Incorporated or chartered engineer status preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive electronics hardware experience.

Responsibilities

• Own electronic hardware development projects from requirement to delivery.
• Lead design and integration of electronics within transmission systems.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts and component selections.
• Mentor engineers and ensure project on time and cost targets.
• Support tests on and off site and assist planning.
