Job summary

CMR Surgical Ltd. is seeking a senior electronics contractor to support the Versius Plus Ultimate program. You will work with the electronics team to interpret requirements, capture schematics, review designs and assist PCBA layout for high-reliability medical devices.

This rolling contract is initially six months with a hybrid office-based pattern requiring at least three days per week onsite. You will collaborate across electronics, mechanical, systems and software engineers in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience taking electronic designs from inception through to manufacture.
• Proficient in Altium Designer for schematic entry and PCB layout.
• Strong cross-disciplinary collaboration within electronics, mechanical, systems and software teams.
• Background in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, defence).

Responsibilities

• Review design requirements with a multidisciplinary team of electronics, mechanical, systems and software engineers.
• Design from first principles; component selection; schematic capture in Altium Designer.
• Participate/collaborate with other electronics engineers to review the design.
• Support PCB layout through placement and layout reviews with EMC/DFM considerations.
