Job summary

CMR Surgical is seeking a senior electronics contractor in the UK to join the Versius Plus Ultimate program. You will work with the electronics team to interpret requirements, capture schematics in Altium, and support PCB layout and test in the system.

The role is initially 6 months with the potential to roll, hybrid working with at least 3 days in the office. Candidates should have a strong electronics background, experience in regulated medical devices, and a proven track record delivering

Qualifications

• Strong communication within a multidisciplinary electronics team.
• Broad electronics design base with deep expertise in one area.
• Experience taking designs from inception to manufacture.
• Proficient with Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout outputs.
• Knowledge of DFx and supplier collaboration.
• Background in a regulated industry (medical devices, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Review requirements with a multidisciplinary team.
• Design from first principles; select components and capture schematics.
• Collaborate on design reviews with electronics engineers.
• Support PCB layout and EMI/DFM principles for functional designs.
• Capture design and test documentation per processes.
• Support board bring-up and system integration.
