Job summary

Essar Oil (UK) Limited is seeking an Electrical Manager at Stanlow, Ellesmere Port to lead a team of electrical engineers and technicians, ensuring safe, compliant operation of HV/LV networks and power generation assets. You will own engineering standards and drive risk-based maintenance, while coordinating with operations, maintenance and projects.

The role requires a Chartered Engineer with extensive HV safety experience, site-based leadership and a strong track record in safety-critical

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering with professional recognition (Chartered Engineer preferred).
Extensive HV safety knowledge, switching operations and safe systems of work.
Experience as Electrical Technical Authority or Electrical Duty Holder in a safety-critical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to Electrical Engineers and Senior Electrical Technicians.
Govern electrical safety, compliance with legislation, standards and procedures.
Act as Site Electrical Technical Authority and manage electrical standards and risk.
Support refinery operations, maintenance, projects and management of change.
Develop asset strategy, monitor condition, and drive reliability improvements.
Lead investigations into electrical incidents and ensure lessons are implemented.
