Job summary

Essar Energy Transition (EET) invites graduates to join a non-rotational three-year programme at the Stanlow Complex, Ellesmere Port. You will be embedded in the electrical engineering domain, supporting automation, safety systems, and HV network projects within a large-scale refinery environment.

You will gain exposure across multiple disciplines, with focused rotations on instrumentation, electrical distribution up to 132kV, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an IET-accredited MENG degree (2:1) in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Highly driven, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Support running production unit with automation and safety shut-down systems.
• Work within electrical team on HV network design, construction and maintenance.
• Assist in project development and control systems as placements are allocated.

Education

IET accredited MENG Degree in electrical or electronic engineering (2:1)
