Job summary

PRS is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to provide regional technical leadership across UK & EMEA data centre portfolios. The role requires hands-on engineering, mentoring, and escalation for complex electrical issues to ensure reliability and resilience of critical power systems.

You will lead technical discussions with Design & Projects, OEMs, customers and partners, shaping standards and best practices across multiple sites and international projects.

Qualifications

• HV Authorising Engineer qualification is essential.
• Experience in mission-critical data centre environments.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, transformers and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior Electrical SME across the UK & EMEA data centre portfolio.
• Provide technical guidance on complex electrical engineering matters.
• Review electrical designs and technical proposals.
• Establish and promote engineering standards and best practice.
• Support commissioning, testing and technical acceptance.
