Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support high-voltage electrical equipment projects across the UK. Based in New Malden/London sites, you will coordinate planning and delivery and act as a key technical interface between UK customers, engineering teams and manufacturing facilities.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and hands-on HV equipment experience (power transformers, shunt reactors).

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with high-voltage electrical equipment (power transformers, shunt reactors or similar).
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards.
• Experience in project engineering or technical coordination.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and documentation.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and execution of electrical engineering projects.
• Monitor milestones, deliverables and engineering progress.
• Manage technical risks, issues and changes.
• Act as the interface between customers and engineering/manufacturing teams.
• Translate customer specs into engineering requirements.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and manufacturability.
• Lead or support design review meetings with customers.
• Support RFIs, technical queries and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with UK, BS, EN and IEC standards.
• Provide technical input into tenders, bids and meetings.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and overseas manufacturing teams.
