Job summary

Construction, a Peterborough-based organisation, seeks an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee electrical projects from pre-construction to completion. You will manage site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires reading drawings, enforcing regulations, and mentoring engineers. A full UK driving licence is essential in a growing business offering a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Manager or similar.
• Experience managing multiple projects and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, regulations, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple electrical projects across sectors.
• Lead electrical supervisors, site managers, electricians and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects align with programme, budgets and quality expectations.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Review specifications, drawings and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and HSE requirements.
• Attend client meetings, site inspections and progress reviews.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and resources for efficiency.
• Resolve technical and operational issues during delivery.
• Support estimating and pre-construction teams where needed.
• Carry out performance reviews and mentor team members.
