Job summary

Primech Building Services Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high safety standards.

You will lead planning, coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning, supervise site teams, liaise with clients and engineers, and manage documentation and finances. A strong safety focus and DBS check are required, with UK driving license for site visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a project manager in electrical engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience using project management software.
• Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Full UK driver's license for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions and define objectives.
• Coordinate all phases: design, procurement, construction, commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and safety standards.
• Supervise site activities and manage subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and control budget and scheduling.
• Prepare project documentation and budgets.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss updates and issues.
• Evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage project finances including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing.
