Your New Team & Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Estimator in a permanent, full-time position based in Newry. You will manage all aspects of the tendering process, focus on growing our client base, and play a key role within the team with potential career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and submit compliant tenders using our estimating templates/software within required deadlines.
• Resolve queries to secure work.
• Participate in securing profitable contracts and interface effectively with clients from initial contact to quotation and winning the order.
• Develop a strong network within the target commercial customer base and promote the company's capabilities.
• Handover secured projects to the Contracts team with detailed budgets and target GP margins.

What You'll Need (Experience)

• At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator/Quantity Surveyor within the construction environment.
• High levels of literacy and numeracy demonstrated through secondary education.
• Technical knowledge of electrical installations from domestic to large commercial/industrial.
• Ability to analyze electrical drawings and establish correct costs.
• Experience in developing long-term customer relationships.
• Proven track record of converting tenders to sales.
• Commercial awareness and deadline-driven mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation skills.
• Strong IT skills.
