Job summary

H-Power, a UK-based clean energy company, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to lead their Electrical Team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in instrumentation and control panel design within a clean energy environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical design across multiple engineering programmes.
• Ability to specify electrical components and instrumentation.
• Experience with safety and compliance activities including HAZOP and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of electrical design across engineering programmes.
• Design and review electrical schematics and control panels.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the engineering team.

Team leadership

Siemens PLC hardware and software

Electrical system design compliance (EN 60204)

Functional safety compliance (EN 61511)

Knowledge of BS7671:2018

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline
