Beyond Blue Clean Energy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of electrical and control systems for heavy machinery and off-highway equipment.

You will own machine-level electrical architecture, supervise PLC programming, motor drives, CAN bus integration, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, manufacturing and supply chain teams; occasional site visits with the CEO may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ten or more years of experience in electrical system design for heavy machinery.
• Minimum five years leading engineering teams or technical departments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control architecture and safety systems.
• Experience with PLC programming, motor drives, CAN bus, and industrial comms.

Mansioni

• Lead complete machine-level electrical system architecture, including control mechanisms, safety circuits, and power distribution.
• Develop electrical hardware and software architecture for diesel, electric, and hybrid platforms.
• Design and review electrical schematics, layouts, harnesses, control cabinets, and BOMs.
• Lead PLC programming, motor drive integration, inverter configuration, and CAN bus systems.
• Oversee prototype builds, bench testing, validation programmes, and on-site commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with UKCA/CE marking and Machinery Regulations.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Support technical bids and customer meetings with engineering documentation.
