Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a global engineering business to recruit a Senior Electrical Engineer in Caldicot, South Wales. You will take ownership of complex projects and provide technical leadership within a highly specialised manufacturing environment, delivering systems from concept through to completion.

The role offers a salary in the £55,000–£66,000 range, a 5% bonus, pension matching up to 8%, and agile/hybrid working arrangements designed to support long-term career stability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical design and project engineering.
• Experience producing electrical calculations and specifications.
• Experience with industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities on complex capital equipment projects.
• Develop control philosophies from P&ID documentation.
• Produce electrical calculations including cable sizing and motor sizing.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate project priorities.
