Job summary

Resourcing Group is recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer for a growing building services consultancy, with options to base in Cardiff or Bristol.

You will lead electrical design across multiple RIBA stages, own project delivery and coordinate engineering teams, while nurturing client relationships and mentoring junior engineers. The role offers hybrid working, salary up to £65,000, private medical insurance and a clear path to chartership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in electrical building services design.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating engineering teams.
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and technical design.
• Membership of CIBSE or IET, or working toward membership.
• Desire to achieve Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and delivery across all RIBA stages.
• Take responsibility for electrical engineering elements from concept through to completion.
• Manage projects and coordinate engineering teams.
• Develop strong client relationships and manage stakeholder communications.
• Provide technical leadership and support to less experienced engineers.
• Undertake technical reviews and contribute to QA processes.
• Carry out site inspections and provide commissioning support where required.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations and best practice.
• Contribute to growth of the electrical engineering team.
