Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical building services designs for a growing consultancy, with projects across Cardiff or Bristol. You will lead delivery, coordinate teams and mentor junior engineers while developing client relationships.

The role offers flexibility with hybrid working and aims for Chartered Engineer pathway, plus support for professional membership and career progression.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in electrical building services design.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating engineering teams.
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Proactive problem solving and technical design.
• Membership of CIBSE or IET, or actively working towards membership.
• Aim to achieve Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and delivery across all RIBA stages.
• Take responsibility for electrical elements from concept to completion.
• Manage projects and coordinate engineering teams.
• Develop strong client relationships and manage stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
• Undertake technical reviews and QA processes.
• Carry out site inspections and commissioning support.
• Ensure designs comply with standards and best practice.
• Contribute to growth of the electrical engineering team.
