Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy or similar engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles, calculations, drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience using industry-standard design tools and producing coordinated design information.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to construction; seniors may mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical building services designs from initial concepts through to detailed design and construction.
• Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, schedules and technical documentation.
• Coordinate electrical distribution, power infrastructure, standby systems for data centres.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to resolve queries and maintain progress.
• Lead design packages and mentor junior engineers (senior).
