Zusammenfassung

Rapiscan Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead product development from concept through production and sustainment within the Cargo & Vehicle Inspection Engineering Team.

You will drive engineering excellence across Cargo and Handheld lines, coordinate with R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing, and help introduce new technologies while ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget adherence. Travel as required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' engineering experience in a technical environment.
• Experience leading or overseeing technical work and governance.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale or complex projects.
• Proficiency in CAD and engineering documentation practices.
• Experience in security tech, defence, or industrial systems preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across Cargo and Handheld product lines.
• Deliver New Product Introduction programmes on time and within budget.
• Support requirements definition, specifications, and engineering reviews.
• Ensure designs meet performance, maintainability, quality, and longevity.
• Review and approve technical documentation and test procedures.
• Collaborate with R&D to adopt emerging technologies.
• Contribute to future product strategies and roadmaps.
• Stay informed on industry and market trends.
