Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Services Engineer to join the Building Engineering team in Sheffield. You will lead multidisciplinary projects, mentor junior engineers, and shape designs that maximise client value while driving towards zero carbon outcomes.

You will collaborate across sectors, participate in feasibility through to completion, and contribute to the firm’s digital design approach using BIM and analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering, ideally to Master’s level.
• Working towards a Chartership.
• Excellent design and technical skills.
• Lead design responsibility on projects for Electrical Services Engineering.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design teams from inception to completion.
• Experience in electrical building services design across multiple project scales.

Responsibilities

• Shape project outcomes with engineering expertise.
• Work in an interdisciplinary environment to maximise client value.
• Support clients in progressing projects Towards Zero Carbon.
• Lead stages from feasibility to completion across commercial, residential, education and healthcare sectors.
