Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its Building Engineering team in Leeds. You will apply engineering expertise across feasibility to delivery, shaping innovative, sustainable buildings while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to maximise client value.

The role emphasises design leadership, technical excellence and ongoing professional development. Ideal candidates will hold a Masters in Electrical Services Engineering, be Chartered or on track, and have experience

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering; Masters preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status via IET or CIBSE.
• Excellent design and technical skills.
• Lead design responsibility on Electrical Services projects.
• Collaborative in multi-disciplinary design teams from inception to completion.
• Experience in electrical building services design across diverse project types.
• Strong planning and organisation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Developing relationships with external team members.
• Committed to professional development and challenging work.
• Passion for design and sustainable building design.
• Proficient in design analysis software.
• Experience in BIM environment using Revit is beneficial.
• Experience in managing small teams for project delivery.
• Interest in training younger engineers and technicians.
