Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Building Services Engineer in Sheffield to contribute to the design of HVAC systems across diverse projects. You will join a multidisciplinary team and work on low-energy strategies, using digital tools and Revit for modelling.

Successful candidates will hold a mechanical or building services degree and show a passion for sustainable development, ready to learn and grow through the Early Careers program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, or Building Services Engineering; strong Bachelor's considered.

Responsibilities

• Support development of mechanical design concepts for low energy and low carbon buildings.
• Complete the design of HVAC systems.
• Use software and digital tools to analyse and optimise solutions.
• Use Revit to develop system designs.
• Undertake thermal and Building Regulation modelling (IESVE or similar).
• Prepare reports and input to decarbonisation strategies for buildings.
