Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead MEP design across multidisciplinary projects. You will guide junior engineers and collaborate with building physicists, sustainability consultants and BIM modellers to deliver sustainable, high-quality outcomes.

You will contribute to net-zero energy goals, manage client relationships, and support the firm’s digital transformation through integrated design approaches.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical, Building Services or Architectural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or near Chartership within 12 months.
• Experience in winning and delivering a range of projects.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary design teams including external sub-consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor MEP teams on local, national and international projects.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across design disciplines.
• Oversee project delivery, including budget, schedule and client communication.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver value and sustainability.
