Job summary
Arup’s Building Engineering team in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead technically challenging electrical services design across commercial, residential, education and healthcare projects. You will contribute from feasibility through to completion, applying digital design and BIM workflows.
The role requires Chartered Engineer status, a Masters in Electrical Services, and proven leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, with strong communication and client-facing
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering, ideally to Masters level.
- Chartered Engineer status via IET or CIBSE.
- Excellent design and technical skills.
- Lead design responsibility on Electrical Services projects.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary design teams and lifecycle delivery.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies through to completion.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across sectors including commercial, residential, education, energy, sport, healthcare and mixed-use developments.
- Contribute to digital transformation and BIM workflows to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Manage and mentor small teams to ensure successful project delivery.
