Job summary

Amey is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead Building Services design within the Consulting Built Environment team. You will conduct condition surveys, feasibility studies, develop scopes of works with clients, and supervise sub-consultants on high‑profile projects.

We value extensive design experience across HV/LV, lighting, life-safety and IT systems, plus proficiency with AutoCAD, Amtech, Hevacomp, Relux/Dialux, TAS, IES and Revit.

Qualifications

• Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in Building Services design.
• Experience delivering electrical and building services on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Proficient with electrical design software and able to manage sub-consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Building Services design for projects.
• Undertake condition surveys and feasibility studies.
• Develop scopes of works and design briefs with clients.
• Site inspections during construction and technical oversight of sub-consultants.
• Lead bids and prepare technical and commercial submissions.
