Job summary
Amey is seeking a Building Services Engineer - Electrical to join the Advisory team in the UK. You will contribute to technically sound electrical designs across diverse multidisciplinary projects, preparing calculations, drawings, and specifications to meet quality, cost and programme objectives.
You will collaborate with experienced engineers, coordinate with stakeholders, and support bid and business development activities while progressing towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required.
- Experience designing electrical building services including lighting and power.
- Understanding of Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Experience with design software and analytical tools.
Responsibilities
- Produce technically sound electrical building services designs in line with client requirements and standards.
- Prepare electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and documentation.
- Design and coordinate electrical building services systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms and security.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Develop compliant design solutions for various project types.
- Support project delivery ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives.
