Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver electrical building services projects in a Birmingham-based role with hybrid working. You’ll own design from concept to completion, coordinate with clients and architects, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, employee-owned consultancy.

You will influence technical decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and help drive project programmes while enjoying a supportive environment and career progression.

Competenze

• A minimum HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' relevant electrical building services design experience, operating at Senior level.
• Strong technical background in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from concept through to completion.
• Experience coordinating with clients, architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical regulations, design standards and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take technical responsibility for projects and mentor others.

Mansioni

• Lead and independently manage electrical building services projects from concept through to post-completion.
• Oversee electrical design quality, technical compliance and successful project delivery.
• Produce and review electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and design documentation.
• Oversee the design of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution and emergency lighting.
• Act as a key technical contact for clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attend and lead design meetings, coordinate project activities and provide technical guidance during construction.
• Manage project programmes and deliverables to standards and timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Support the development of the electrical engineering team and maintain a collaborative environment.
