Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Southampton office. You will lead electrical building services designs from concept through to completion, collaborating with clients, architects and other engineering disciplines on diverse, high-value schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Good understanding of relevant electrical regulations, standards and best practice.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams and attending client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services designs from concept through to completion.
• Produce electrical calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.
• Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting and emergency lighting.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers and contractors.
• Support project delivery and ensure designs meet applicable standards and client requirements.
• Provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
