Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Building Services Design Engineer in Bristol. You will lead electrical design delivery across a varied project portfolio and mentor junior engineers in a hybrid Bristol office.

You will work with a UK-wide independent consultancy delivering across multiple sectors, coordinating with architects, contractors and clients and driving energy efficiency and low-carbon design initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in LV distribution, lighting, load assessments.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with Amtech, ElectricalOM, DIALux, Relux, Hevacomp, AutoCAD, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services designs from concept to completion.
• Produce drawings, specifications and calculations.
• Manage client relationships and coord with architects and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
• Contribute to bids and business development.
• Ensure designs meet standards, CDM and budgets.
