Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for an established Building Services consultancy in the Solihull area. The role covers Commercial, Residential, Hotels, Education and Healthcare projects and reports to the Director.

You will be part of the Electrical team, participate in project meetings, and supervise junior staff while ensuring QA compliance across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Electrical Building Services design.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
• Ability to communicate with staff across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

• Project coordination across schemes and teams.
• Lighting design using Dialux software.
• Electrical design calculations using Amtech software.
• Active participation in project meetings and design reviews.
• Liaising with internal and external design teams.
• Supervision of junior staff.

A National Building Services consultancy is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their busy office in Birmingham.

In this full time permanent position you will be part of the Electrical team in the Solihull office and report to the Director. The role will cover various sectors including Commercial, Residential, Hotels, Education and Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Project Co-ordination
• Lighting Designs utilising Dialux Software
• Producing Electrical design calculations using Amtech Software
• Take an active role in project meetings
• Liaising with both internal and external design teams
• Supervision of Junior staff
• Compliance with company QA system
• Take an active role in marketing and work winning activities

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 5 years of engineering experience in Electrical Building Services design
• Hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification
• Have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels, including technical staff across multiple disciplines
• Have demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with clients
