Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of electrical building services design across multiple projects. You will produce calculations, specifications, and detailed drawings while acting as a key client-facing representative.

You will mentor junior engineers, oversee project delivery for quality and budget, and contribute to CDM compliance and ISO quality standards as the Birmingham team grows.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND considered).
• Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE or IET).
• Strong proficiency with design tools including Amtech, Relux and Dialux.
• Experience with AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical building services design across a variety of projects.
• Produce calculations, specifications, reports and detailed design drawings.
• Act as a key client-facing representative in meetings and project discussions.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, programme and budget compliance.
