Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in the UK. You will design and deliver electrical building services across commercial, residential, education and healthcare projects, leading design efforts and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will work through feasibility to completion, leveraging BIM and digital innovation to improve efficiency and project outcomes while supporting Arup’s Net Zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Services Engineering, ideally Masters level.
• Chartered Engineer status via IET or CIBSE.
• Excellent design and technical skills.
• Lead design responsibility on Electrical Services projects.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design teams from inception to completion.
• Experience in electrical building services design across various project scales and types.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full project lifecycle from feasibility to completion.
• Lead electrical design on projects within the Building Engineering team.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Utilise design analysis software and BIM in project delivery.
• Develop and nurture client and supplier relationships; mentor junior engineers.
