Job summary

Northcote M&E is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical building services design from inception to completion across diverse schemes in the UK. You will contribute to design development, calculations, and client coordination, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

The role emphasizes CAD/Revit production, design calculations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven expertise in electrical design and building services.

Responsibilities

• Attend Client/Design Team briefings to establish project criteria.
• Develop system options at design development stages with senior staff.
• Prepare initial budget costings and monitor design development/cost implications.
• Produce Tender quality drawings in accordance with QA procedures using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Liaise with Statutory Supply Companies to obtain record information and quotations for new supplies.
• Manage own time effectively and prioritise to meet Client deadlines.
