Not disclosed UK-based consultancy seeks a Senior or Principal Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead electrical design across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with project leadership, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and drive innovative engineering solutions through BIM and Revit MEP.

You will influence design decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure delivery aligns with programme, budget, and safety objectives while maintaining client relationships across

Qualifications

• Strong background in Electrical Building Services Design within a consultancy environment.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards Chartership through IET or CIBSE).
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary building services projects within the UK.
• Proficiency with BIM and digital design tools, with Revit MEP experience highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple project priorities.
• Commercial awareness and a track record of delivering technically excellent engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
• Produce and review technical designs, calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Support project delivery in line with programme, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Chair design and coordination meetings with project teams and external stakeholders.
• Utilise BIM and digital engineering tools to support project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to professional development.
• Support commercial performance and project profitability.
• Keep up to date with current legislation, standards, and industry best practice.
