COWI is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Infrastructure MEP team in the UK. Lead multiple medium-sized projects, developing and coordinating MV/LV power systems and related electrical packages.

You will collaborate with BIM and multidisciplinary teams, ensure design quality, and deliver in line with UK standards. Hybrid office/home working repsonsibilities apply.

Formación

• A degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• Experience on large-scale UK infrastructure electrical design projects.
• Ability to work across sectors as needed.
• Knowledge of CDM2015 regulations and UK standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee MV/LV power systems design, including single line diagrams, load schedules and cable calculations.
• Oversee design of electrical systems (fire alarm, security, lighting, earthing).
• Prepare technical specifications and interface with BIM models.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and BIM teams to develop drawings.
• Conduct technical reviews of designs, calculations and specs.
• Participate in project meetings, site surveys and inspections.
• Adhere to quality and governance processes.
