Job summary

COWI UK is seeking a Principal BIM Lead to join the Digital Delivery team. You will drive high‑quality 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinate multidisciplinary designs, and implement automated workflows across projects in the UK.

Based from offices in Glasgow, London, or other UK locations, you will mentor staff and ensure adherence to BIM standards. The role requires extensive experience with Revit, Tekla and Bentley OpenBuildings, plus strong knowledge of ISO19650 and ProjectWise/ACC

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with UK infrastructure BIM delivery and multi‑discipline workflows.
• Proficient in Revit, Tekla and Bentley OpenBuildings Designer for models and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of CDEs (ProjectWise, ACC) and ISO19650 framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of high‑quality 3D models and 2D drawings per standards.
• Coordinate multi‑discipline models and ensure full integration across teams.
• Develop libraries, tagging, and automation scripts to improve workflows.
• Support and mentor junior staff and act as a project BIM lead.
• Advise on software setup, tools, and processes for projects.
