Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Crawley is responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs within the asset and connections portfolio. The role requires adherence to UKPN standards and CDM regulations, with mentorship of teammates and collaboration across diverse teams.

The position offers hybrid working after a 6-month probation and a salary of £84,160 plus car and a 3% bonus.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with 132kV/33kV/11kV design knowledge.
• Familiar with CDM regulations and safety practices.
• Experience delivering designs to cost, time and quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical designs compliant with standards and CDM requirements.
• Deliver designs for UKPN substations per relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare technical and contractual documents for procurement of engineering products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth design process.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with external partners.
