Job summary

JCB World Headquarters is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Product Innovation to lead the development of electrical and electronic systems for our machines, delivering performance, reliability and innovative solutions.

You will define system architectures, design high‑voltage (48V–600V) and 12V/24V networks, and use Zuken E3 and Siemens NX for harness layouts, validating components to meet UK/EU standards.

Qualifications

HND level in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in off-highway or automotive electrical design.
Knowledge of high-voltage, 48V–600V systems.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing high-voltage vehicle electrical systems (48V to 600V).
Designing and developing 12V and 24V electrical systems.
Defining electrical and electronic system architectures.
Using Zuken E3 and Siemens NX to develop wiring systems and harness designs.
Specifying electrical components for vehicle applications.
Testing and validating electrical components and systems.
Maintaining development and validation rigs.
