Job summary

JCB World Headquarters is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Product Innovation to lead the design, development and validation of electrical systems for next‑generation machines. You will contribute to architectures and high‑voltage electrification, ensuring compliance with safety and global standards.

Responsibilities include circuit design, component specification, harness development with Zuken E3 and Siemens NX, and rigorous testing across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in off-highway or automotive electrical design.
• Knowledge of high-voltage and 12V/24V systems.
• Proficiency with Zuken E3 and Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-voltage vehicle electrical systems (48V–600V).
• Define electrical system architectures and specify components.
• Develop wiring systems and harness designs using CAD tools.
• Test, validate and verify electrical components and systems.
• Ensure safety, legislative and industry standards compliance.
