Job summary

Expleo is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our UK team in Uttoxeter. You will design and develop high‑voltage electrical systems for off‑highway vehicles, and support the integration of electrical architectures across 12V–600V.

You will use CAD tools (Zuken E3, Siemens NX preferred) and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet safety and regulatory requirements in the UK and Europe. A strong HND in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• HND in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience designing high-voltage electrical systems for heavy‑duty/off‑highway vehicles.
• Knowledge of electrical harness architectures and vehicle legislation UK/Europe.
• Proficiency or willingness to become proficient in Zuken E3 and Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-voltage electrical systems (12V–600V) for heavyduty vehicles.
• Develop 12V and 24V electrical systems for standard vehicle applications.
• Use CAD tools to define vehicle electrical wiring systems (Zuken E3 and Siemens NX preferred).
• Support the definition and development of electrical/electronic system architecture.
• Apply safety-critical design principles for off-highway electrical/electronic systems.
• Specify electrical/electronic components for vehicle applications.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical/electronic components and systems.
• Produce technical specifications, group standards, and engineering instructions.
• Carry out system and installation reviews to established standards.
• Set up and maintain development and validation rigs.
