Job summary

Ethos Engineering in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer to join our established team, working with our Dublin team to deliver hyperscale data centre projects across EMEA. You will lead electrical services design from concept to construction, mentor junior staff, and ensure delivery meets programme, budget and quality.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT is preferred; Chartered status advantageous.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Senior Engineer in electrical building services.
• Experience leading electrical design packages for data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards (ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, EN).

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Services design for data centre projects from concept to construction.
• Provide technical direction to support engineers and BIM technicians.
• Mentor junior staff and deliver fully detailed tender packages.
• Develop project scope with design team and clients.
• Prepare budgets and reports for clients and attend site visits.
