Apex M&E Solutions Ltd in Sheffield is recruiting a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead electrical design projects and manage a small engineering team. The role includes direct client contact and collaboration across healthcare, residential, education and commercial developments.

You will oversee technical delivery, coordinate with other disciplines and contribute to project meetings while developing leadership and design skills in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• At least five years in engineering design and related building services.
• A relevant HND/degree or master’s in building services is preferred.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to coordinate multi‑discipline work.

Apex M&E Solutions is recruiting a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer for an established, independent engineering consultancy in Sheffield.

You’ll work on projects ranging from smaller sites to multi-million-pound schemes, combining technical delivery with team leadership and direct client contact. The practice offers structured development, professional support and the opportunity to contribute to a growing business.

The role

What you’ll bring

You’ll have relevant building services design experience, ideally with at least five years in engineering design, and the confidence to take responsibility for projects and support other engineers.

An HND, degree or master’s qualification in building services is preferred, together with professional institution membership. You’ll also need an understanding of CAD or similar modelling software, strong organisational skills and a practical, collaborative approach.
