Job summary

RGB Network is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical building services design on a portfolio predominantly London-based, with hybrid working from Buckinghamshire. The role focuses on delivering high-quality MEP solutions and developing talent within a collaborative team.

You will design LV power, lighting and life-safety systems, coordinate with consultants and clients, and drive projects from concept through to completion.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Around 5+ years' consultancy experience within building services.
• Strong understanding of UK regulations and industry standards.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.
• Experience with Amtech/Trimble, Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design on a variety of projects.
• Produce detailed design calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Design LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms and related systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, clients and contractors.
• Attend project and client meetings throughout RIBA stages.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and contribute to project delivery.

A well-established and highly respected building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This specialist engineering consultancy provides Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Sustainability and Environmental design services across a range of sectors including commercial offices, retail, residential, hospitality, mixed-use developments, education, and bespoke projects.

Projects typically range from approximately £5m to £60m in value, with approximately 95% of schemes located within London. The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:

• Lead electrical building services design on a variety of projects.
• Produce detailed design calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Design LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms and associated building services systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, clients and contractors.
• Attend project and client meetings throughout all RIBA stages.
• Support and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Assist with project planning and technical review processes.

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Around 5+ years' consultancy experience within building services.
• Strong understanding of UK regulations and industry standards.
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.
• Working knowledge of software such as Amtech/Trimble, Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• UK Driving License and car.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
