Job summary

Apex M&E Solutions Ltd in Sheffield is recruiting a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead electrical design projects and manage a small engineering team. The role includes direct client contact and collaboration across healthcare, residential, education and commercial developments.

You will oversee technical delivery, coordinate with other disciplines and contribute to project meetings while developing leadership and design skills in a growing practice.

Qualifications

• At least five years in engineering design and related building services.
• A relevant HND/degree or master’s in building services is preferred.
• Strong CAD skills and ability to coordinate multi‑discipline work.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design delivery and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
• Manage a small team, providing technical guidance and training.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and represent the practice internally and externally.
• Monitor budgets and control expenditure within your area.
• Support work-winning activity and maintain client relationships.
