Job summary

Tata Chemicals Europe is recruiting an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Manager for the Middlewich site. You will lead the CE team and governance across electrical and control systems, driving safe, compliant and efficient maintenance and project activity.

You will coach the CE Supervisor and Senior Technicians, manage contractors, and coordinate with planners to ensure timely, quality work while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent with significant maintenance management experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with CE governance experience.
• Knowledge of Statutory Electrical Standards and MHRA accreditation expectations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil and govern CE activities, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.
• Maintain governance for electrical and control systems, identifying and managing risks.
• Lead CE team development, coaching seniors and coordinating with planners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Planning Engineer to scope, resource, and schedule maintenance work.
• Drive a culture of quality data recording and ALCOA++ principles across the plant.
• Manage internal and external resources (contractors) for maintenance and projects.
