Job summary

Successfactors in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to act as the Regional Electrical Duty Holder, responsible for electrical standards across one manufacturing site and two depots. You will lead a small team of controls engineers and a senior electrical engineer, ensuring ECOPS compliance, safety, and legislative adherence while driving PLC/SCADA system enhancements.

Qualifications

Time served apprenticeship.
Electrical engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience.
Knowledge of general electrical legislation, regulations, statutory procedures and practical applications.
Knowledge of electrical Permit to Work and Isolation procedures.
Ability to solve problems with a logical approach and implement lasting solutions.
Ability to work to high standards and prioritise workload.
FMCG experience and ability to operate under pressure in a fast-moving technical environment.
Good decision-making skills.
Able to communicate with internal and external functions.
PC literate.
PLC experience at programming level with Mitsubishi (D) and Allen Bradley.
SCADA systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

Be the site technical expert on electrical standards and control systems; provide guidance and hands-on assistance as needed.
Design, specify and purchase electrical equipment to keep site technology up to date.
Compile detailed electrical specifications for plant, equipment and installations.
Determine electrical competence of site personnel and assign appropriate tasks.
Interface with Regional Engineering Manager and central engineering functions; develop best practices and standards.
